Diving chambers for navies, contractors and rescue services
35 named diving projects18 countries2007–2024
Hipertech builds twin-lock decompression chambers, transportable recompression systems and containerized chambers at its factory in İstanbul. The company that welds the vessel is the company that installs it, commissions it and trains the people who will run it.

Named deliveries only. Military, government and private buyers under non-disclosure are not named, so a short list here is a disclosure limit rather than a delivery record. Two of the buyers above came back: Vietnam Special Forces took transportable systems in 2020 and a decompression chamber in 2024, and the Odesa rescue department took transportable systems in 2023 and again in 2024.
Revision and refit
Alongside new build, Hipertech revises and refits chambers already in service. The largest of those programmes were run for the Turkish Navy, across İstanbul and other cities.

See the full reference list →Where the chamber has to be is what decides which of the three you specify
All three are pressure vessels for human occupancy, built to the same three codes. What separates them is mobility: one is specified as a fixed installation, one is built light enough to be carried to where it is needed, and one travels inside a shipping container.
Decompression Chambers
Configuration: Twin-lock
The twin-lock chamber, and the family with the most named deliveries. Mixed gas systems, CO₂ scrubbers, automatic stop sensors and a NATO Flange are standard, and the whole system can be supplied in a container instead.
SpecificationDecompression ChambersTransportable Recompression Chamber Systems
Configuration: Twin-lock, 1+1
A twin-lock chamber for one diver and one attendant, built on an aluminium hull to reduce weight.
SpecificationTransportable Recompression Chamber SystemsContainerized Chambers
Configuration: Decompression chamber in a shipping container
A decompression chamber built into a shipping container, with the console, the gas manifold and the plant in the same box. A compact technical room is on the option list.

The codes a diving chamber is built to, and the membership behind them
PED · ASME VIII · ASME PVHO
A diving chamber is a pressure vessel for human occupancy, not a medical device, and it is certified as one. The medical set that governs the hyperbaric therapy chambers does not apply here and is not claimed here.
- PED 2014/68/EU
- The European Pressure Equipment Directive. The route by which the vessel is placed on the EU market.
- ASME Section VIII
- The American Society of Mechanical Engineers design code for pressure vessels.
- ASME PVHO
- The ASME standard written specifically for pressure vessels that people go inside.
Industry membership
IMCA Supplier (S) Member
Hipertech is an official Supplier (S) Member of the International Marine Contractors Association. It is a trade membership rather than a mark on the vessel (the vessel carries the three codes above), but it is the affiliation a diving contractor looks for, and it belongs to this product line.

Ask engineering
Say how many people the chamber has to hold and whether it stays at a dive station or travels to one.
