Founded by practicing surgeons who opened Türkiye’s first private HBOT center
Two practicing surgeons, one a general surgeon and the other an ear, nose and throat surgeon, encountered hyperbaric oxygen therapy in 1995 and spent two years researching it. In 1997 they opened Türkiye’s first private hyperbaric oxygen therapy center, and for eight years they ran it and the centers that grew from it before founding Hipertech in 2005 to manufacture the chambers themselves. Every chamber Hipertech builds is informed by that operating experience. Both founders still serve as CEOs of HBO Group and of Hipertech.

HBO Group, founded in 1997, operates seven private hyperbaric oxygen therapy centers in Türkiye. Hipertech, founded in 2005, is the separate manufacturing company. The two share founders and an İstanbul base, and the centers serve as testing and demonstration sites, as on-site training facilities for Hipertech customers, and as a continuous source of clinical feedback into chamber design.
