A rectangular section buys interior volume
A cylinder wastes its corners. Squaring the section off is the whole argument for the Quadro: a larger interior for a center that needs one, in exchange for a bigger room to put it in. The flat face is what makes the 120 cm door possible, and the 120 cm door is what lets an ICU bed come straight in. Compliance set and automation platform are the Omega’s.
What the section changes
- A flat end face, and a 120 cm door in it
- Low threshold, for wheelchair access
- Lightweight ramps, for ICU stretcher access
- Larger interior volume than the Omega
- Needs a bigger room to take it

Floor plan first
The room decides whether the rectangular section earns its space or an Omega does the same job in less of it.
